there is no best book for bank po or clerks exam. first u need to have a strategy. there r 4 sections in these exams. 1.english , 2. quant aptitude ,3. reasoning , 4.general awareness. each and every section has its own depth. have a strategy for each section and prepare well .
1. english: use "ren & martin" high school english grammar book. read it and practise the exercises.. take "oxford advanced learners dictionary" and "word power made easy" improve ur word power.daily read a english newspaper. These things make u powerful in various sections of english section.
2.quantitative aptitude: take "r.s .aggarwal 's" quantitative aptitude. and practice it completely . really this is a god book for quantitative aptitude.
3. reasoning: purchase r.s. aggarwals reasoning book. but dont practise all types of sections. select only those sections which r available in bank po's exam and clerks exam . prepare only those sections thoroughly.
4. general awareness: take 8 consecutive monthly magazines of "competition success review" or "Competition refresher" before the exam month. read them completely.
after doing all these things, then purchase a well known company's test papers for "bank po's" . and practise them a lot. this is the complete preparation strategy .
